FASF IN MAY IN SARAJEVO

From May 18 to 20, 2023, an International Conference of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists was held in Sarajevo under the auspices of the European Federation of Biochemical Societies (FEBS). More than 200 scientists from 25 countries participated in this event, and Prof. Dr. Zoran T. Popovski from FZNH as invited speaker with a presentation on the topic: SOME MOLECULAR, BIOCHEMICAL AND NUTRITIONAL ASPECTS OF OBSESSION – CASE STUDY FROM MACEDONIA" within the Molecular Genetics session. Besides prof. Popovski, plenary and invited lecturers at the conference were also from: Spain, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Belgium, Slovenia, Croatia, Scotland, Switzerland, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, etc.

On May 19, 2023, at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Processing in Sarajevo, a lecture was given by Prof. Zoran T. Popovski from FASF, followed by a public forum on the topic GENETIC AND NUTRITIONAL BASIS OF OVERWEIGHT, which was attended by employees and associates and students from this faculty. The lecture was followed by an interesting discussion in which several attendees participated.

In this way, FZNH is actively involved in the fight against overweight and obesity as global phenomena that leave serious consequences for humanity.
