Laboratory for Animal Feed Analysis

The laboratory's main mission is to support the teaching of first-, second- and third-cycle students. It also contributes actively to research by taking part in national and international research projects, while developing cooperation with industry and providing applied services to clients from the private sector, state institutions, non-governmental organisations, farmers, producer associations and other stakeholders.

The laboratory also helps to solve challenges in managing quality and safety in animal production systems, including specific tests and analyses carried out on livestock farms and in feed production facilities.

Its activities focus on assessing and improving the quality and safety of animal feed and its compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements and standards in the sector, so the laboratory contributes to sustainable and efficient livestock production.
