Personal data protection
We do not track you, we have no advertising or analytics, and we do not ask for data we do not need. Below you can read exactly what is stored, where and for how long.
What is stored when you visit the site
The site sets no cookies for visitors. One strictly necessary cookie is set only when someone signs in to edit the site: it is called uni_preview and remembers that the sign-in succeeded. It contains no name, email address or any other data. It lasts 30 days if “Remember me on this device” was chosen; otherwise it is deleted when the browser is closed.
A few of your choices are kept only in your browser and are not sent to us: your display settings, whether you have paused animations, which urgent notice you have closed, what you have searched for, which study programmes you are comparing and which enrolment documents you have ticked. They are deleted when you clear the site's data in your browser.
The server, like any web server, briefly records the IP address, the time of the request and the type of browser. These records are used only for security and for fixing errors.
What we do not do
- We do not use analytics tools or advertising networks.
- We do not embed buttons or content from social networks that track you.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not sell or pass on data to others.
Messages to the Faculty
The site has no forms that collect personal data. You write to the Faculty from your own email, to the addresses of its offices on the “Contact” page.
Your rights
The Law on Personal Data Protection in the Republic of North Macedonia is aligned with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Under it, you have the right:
- to find out whether we process your data and what that data is
- to receive a copy of it
- to ask for it to be corrected or deleted
- to ask for the processing to be restricted or to object to it
We reply to requests within one month. If you believe that your data is being processed contrary to the law, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Agency.
