Faculty Student Assembly
The Faculty Student Assembly (FSA) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food – Skopje, part of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, is the students' representative body: it represents and protects their rights and interests and takes an active part in improving the quality of higher education and student life.
About the Assembly
The Faculty Student Assembly is an important link in communication between students, the teaching and research staff and the Faculty's management, encouraging open dialogue, cooperation and students' active participation in the academic community.
Mission and goals
The core mission of the Faculty Student Assembly is to ensure that students take an active and equal part in academic processes, to represent their views and needs, and to help create a modern, inclusive and high-quality environment for study.
In its work, the Assembly is committed to:
- Representing and protecting students' rights and interests
- Improving the quality of teaching, study programmes and study conditions
- Encouraging student participation in the Faculty's bodies and committees, in accordance with the regulations and acts in force
- Organising scientific, educational, cultural, sporting and charitable activities
- Supporting student initiatives, innovation, research and professional development
- Developing cooperation with student organisations, institutions, businesses and related faculties at home and abroad
Activities and student initiatives
The Faculty Student Assembly encourages and supports activities that enrich students' academic and social experience.
Particular attention is given to organising expert lectures, workshops, student conferences, field visits, educational events and activities related to today's challenges in agriculture, food production, environmental protection and sustainable development.
Through cooperation with the Faculty's management, the academic staff and external partners, the Assembly helps connect students with the scientific and professional community, creating opportunities to gain new knowledge, practical skills and experience.
