The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food – Skopje, part of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, is working intensively on demonstration trials to research and use smart-agriculture technologies that would make agricultural production sustainable and resilient under climate change.
One of the aims of the project “Smart agriculture for adaptation to climate change” (KLIMAGRI – CLIMAGRI) is to involve the young generation and acquaint it with the ways agriculture can adapt to climate challenges. The Faculty thanks the teachers and the secondary-school students of the “Kiro Burnaz” Regional Centre for Vocational Education and Training in Kumanovo and the “Georgi Dimitrov” Secondary School of Agriculture and Forestry in Skopje for taking part in the training and for their interest in innovative digital and agrotechnical solutions in agriculture.
