AGROCHEMISTRY AND PLANT NUTRITION LABORATORY | Print |
Laboratory for agrochemistry and plants nutrition exists since the foundation of the Faculty in 1947. It is located on the first floor of the Faculty, accommodated in a room with an area of 36 m2.

Equipment
  • Muffle furnace;
  • Kjeldahl apparatus;
  • Flame photometer;
  • Dryers;
  • Water distillation apparatus;
  • Analytical balance.
Analyses
  • Agrochemical soil analyses (content of available to plants macro and micro nutrients; content of available to plants forms of heavy metals).
  • Foliar analyses (content of macro and micro nutrients; content of heavy toxic metals).
  • Quality of fruits, grape and vegetables (determination of water and dry matter content; mineral and organic matter content; macro and microelements content; analyses of heavy toxic metals).
  • Analyses of mineral fertilizers (chemical and physical properties).
  • Analyses of organic fertilizers

Main activity of the Laboratory
  • Scientific projects in the field of plants nutrition;
  • Analyses for private and institutional agricultural sector;
  • Analyses for mineral fertilizers trading companies.
